What kind of make up and hair style should I do for prom?
Hi all. Thanks for spending your time reading my question. It's a simple one. I am an exchange student from Indonesia, and this is my first prom in America. I want to do my make up and hair all by myself. I like to be creative, also it doesn't cost much money. I don't wear make up in daily basis, but I love to play with eyeliner, just sometimes. So could you help me to suggest what kind of make up and hair style should I do? Like the color or stuffs. These are the details. I am 16 year old, 5.5" and about 128 lbs. My hair is pretty long, it goes down close to the upper part of my belly button. It's black, thick, and kind of straight, but not too much. I don't like the up-do style, I want my hair to fall on my shoulder and be kind of wavy. Oh yes, and my bang is also long it goes down over my chin. The tools that I have are only hair dryer, curly iron and flat iron. Then, my prom dress is a one diagonal shoulder long beige dress, kind of gold-ish and sparkly too. I am not used to wear this kind of open dress. But, it's pretty! My skin is pretty much look like tanned skin, light brown, just like Indonesians or Philippines people. I want my make up to be kind of natural like maybe brown-ish or gold-ish, but still eye catching for this kind of formal event! I have pretty large Asian eyes and long eyelashes. My face type is oval. I don't really know make ups, like base, concealer or stuff like that. But after I got some suggestion I am planning to buy some make up stuffs near my school!
