Ok, I think I understand your question now. I assume it was her idea and concept, and that when she pitched it to her industry friends and producers, they invested in the show. I doubt she qualified for grants, because she is in a higher income bracket than most Americans. Hope this answers your question.

In 2003, Tyra established her very own Film and Television Production Company called Bankable Productions. The first project under the production Company is the CW hit reality series *Americas Next Top Model* which was created and also executive produced by Tyra and her newly formed company. The second project in the works is *The Tyra Banks Show* the show will be different and out of the box and primatily target women from ages 25 to 35. There are several more projects in development. A sitcom, a one hour drama, a made for TV moive and others.*
