how do i investigate a person from indonesia in Malaysia?
for a year my girlfriends house had a new person that lives around with her family, which has been brought back by her dad. Based on her statement she said she is from Indonesia and she is from a wealthy family and had run away from home. So my girlfriend's dad pity her for running away from to a far away land and allowed her to stay in a apartment that was rented just for her and as the payment for the rental she was asked to work in his hardware shop. Recently money had been gone missing, its kind of obvious who did it, but my girlfriends dad believe that she did not do it on purpose or maybe excited bout getting to make some sales. then later on we had her passport and etc checked by a private investigator, and we found that it is a fake passport, my girlfriends dad still believes the girl because he said she is running away from home it is normal to have a fake passport. so without her real name or passport or identification number it seems to be impossible to check her background or scan her... We cant report to the police because my girlfriends dad knows some people in the police force and he has some status at the area.it would be easy to release her with a small sum of money. is there any solution?how can we at least know who she is?is she a con-women?what she say is it true? just to prove what she said is a lie or truth..we are afraid she is a con-woman... can an investigation be done just by giving a picture? cause there is nothing else that seems to be real except her presents... as what i can see i don think she was once from a wealthy family at all... please help me...thanks for your reponses...
