Is Barrack Obama a great American?

Is Barrack Obama a great American?
Barrack Hussein Obama.... WANTS TO GIVE US MORE MONEY BY TAKING IT AWAY Obama's Cap and Trade plan will raise American families taxes by $4,000 of which about $700 - $800 will be redistributed to the needy. The other $3,300 will be used to pay for his stimulus plan (which quadrupled the national debt), universal healthcare ($1.4 trillion), and other plans. If you want to compare his spending with Bush, look here: http://blog.heritage.org/2009/03/24/bush-deficit-vs-obama-deficit-in-pictures/ ASSOCIATED WITH A DOMESTIC TERRORIST (BILL AYERS) A New York Times reporter quoted Bill Ayers saying "I don't regret setting bombs" and "I feel we didn't do enough", and, when asked if he would do it all again as saying "I don't want to discount the possibility." Obama and Ayers have stated they had no close connection, yet there is evidence that they worked on the same council for 3 years. Obama even had a fundraiser in Ayers home for his first campaign. The fundraiser was "a small gathering of about a dozen people" so they most definitely interacted. ATTENDS RACIST SERMONS WITH AMERICAN HATE SPEECH Reverand Wright is quoted as saying that the "damn Jews" control the White House. He is also quoted as saying "God damn America,"that America is "killing innocent people," and that America invented HIV/AIDS as a form of genocide against its own people. BORN IN KENYA, NOT THE UNITED STATES Despite Obama's birth certificate from Hawaii (which took a while to produce...probably because they had to make it). Someone is lying. According to Obama's Kenyan (paternal) grandmother, as well as his half-brother and half-sister, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Kenya, not in Hawaii as the Democratic candidate for president claims. His grandmother bragged that her grandson is about to be President of the United States and is so proud because she was present DURING HIS BIRTH IN KENYA, in the delivery room. -This, according to several news sites and Pennsylvania attorney Philip J. Berg who is, surprisingly, a life long democrat himself. Berg is the former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania, and he has an impressive background in his activities as a democrat, but his support for the party seemingly stops when it comes to his trust in Barack Hussein Obama. RAISED WITH ISLAMIC INFLUENCE OVERSEAS His father was a Muslim and mother was an atheist (how is Obama a Christian?). His parents divorced and his mother got remarried to another Muslim. Barack Hussein Obama attended schools in a dominantly Islamic Indonesia for 5 years. I am not saying all Muslims are bad, I am saying Obama is lying through his teeth. DESPITE BEING CHRISTIAN, FINDS CHRISTIANITY OFFENSIVE When Obama gave a speech at Georgetown University the White House asked them to cover up a symbol representing Christianity, despite Georgetown being a Christian school. If Obama spoke at a mosque, we all know he would NEVER ask them to hide the Koran or the crescent moon. WANTS TO PUT YOUR FAMILY AT RISK "The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the supply of arms to the underdogs is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let's not have any native militia or native police. German troops alone will bear the sole responsibility for the maintenance of law and order throughout the occupied Russian territories, and a system of military strong-points must be evolved to cover the entire occupied country." --Adolf Hitler Obama, like Hitler, wants to rid of us the 2nd Amendment. If the British had done the same thing, we would have never achieved our freedom. The purpose of the people having weapons is do defend themselves from an unfair government, and rise when necessary. If the Jews had guns, perhaps 6 million lives could have been saved. WANTS TO IGNORE ILLEGAL ALIENS The Bush Administration proposed a rule to instruct employers how to deal with the "no-match" letters to ensure that employers don't continue to employ illegal aliens. By Obama gutting this rule, not only would illegal aliens be allowed to continue in their jobs but the Obama Administration would also be turning a blind eye to those illegal aliens who are committing felony identity theft by using the Social Security number of an American citizen or legal immigrant! WANTS TO PROSECUTE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES FOR DOING THEIR JOBS Obama sold out the CIA for using waterboarding tactics yet refused to produce the entire document so we wouldn't know what information they got from using those techniques. All we know is they used water boarding. Most likely he didn't produce those documents because we would all see that water boarding has resulted in gaining valuable information to save American lives. FAILS AS A PUBLIC SPEAKER WITHOUT A T He also bows to the ruler of Saudi Arabia, but not the Queen of England, our closest ally. He apologizes to the rest of the world for America's actions, no pride in his own country.

RANT ALERT. Whether or not he's great is a matter of opinion. I think its too early to say.
3 :
He's not an American at all. He is an illegal alien however.
4 :
The election was last november , its abit late for this now isn't it
5 :
Yeah, sure. A cut & paste rant? REALLY?
6 :
Obama is a man without a country - he has no loyalties, nor conscience, nor integrity - he sells himself to the highest bidder, and uses people/groups/religion as stepping stones. He was the perfect choice for the globalists -he is in no way "American" - he is a phony 'citizen of the world'
7 :
Zzzzzzz.....!
8 :
No, He is Raising Everyone's Taxes Indirectly, by Taxing Corporations that will pass those Taxes on to Consumers, whether it be your electric bills, heating bills, grocery bills, or the gasoline you put in your car, we will ALL be paying much more for absolutely everything we purchase! Of course his faithful followers will still praise him regardless of how much he destroys our economy.
9 :
The jury is still out on whether Obama is even an American citizen. He refuses to make his birth certificate public. I do not know of any American that would have a problem with showing their birth certificate unless they had something to hide. Obama's paternal grandmother said early on in Obama's campaign for president that she was present when he was born in Kenya. How could this be? She was shut up real quick and the media has let it be. Obama is the most unqualified person in my lifetime to serve in the office of president. He is all talk, talk, talk and at the complete mercy of those around him.
10 :
Where i the proof?? Real presidents don`t apologize for their country
11 :
Remember, Obama said in Germany during the campaign "I am a citizen of the World".
12 :
Anyone ever tell you that you rant a lot? At least he's better than McCain.
13 :
Still angry over the November defeat I see.
14 :
No. He's not even American. I promise you that I will never follow him. I would rather go to jail then to do ANYTHING for him. He's screwed this country up in 6 months.
15 :
He's too busy celebrating his daughter's birthday.
16 :
We don't know that he is an American, so it makes it impossible to know if he's a great American, having said that, I don't think he has any thing to worry about; the betrayal of ones country by giving aid to it's enemies does not make you a great America, just a traitors bastard!
17 :
Barack Obama is a Good person and a fine American. He is a good family man and a caring individual. That being said he is a bad Commander and Chief. He doesn't understand the founding documents of the United states and thinks freedom is "Spreading the wealth around" without any thought of the consequences of the effect of destroying the wealth of this country and resulting in making everyone poor. He is a good man who is misguided, He is not an economic President and will be a disaster if the Republicans don't take back Congress in 2010. If the Republicans take Congress it will gridlock Obama's agenda and cause a rally in the economy similar to the late 1990s. after the GOP took majority in 1994.

Please help me with dividing paragraphs?

Please help me with dividing paragraphs?
I'm a South Korean teenage girl learning English as my second language. There was a writing assignment in my school and I have trouble dividing the paragraphs into intro, body and conclusion. Please help me. My essay topic is: What are your opinions on world trade and globalization? My essay: Let’s say that you are an orange farmer in South Korea, and, you are just starting up your first business. You aim to market domestically and will be able to employ over 50 laborers. What problems will you face? You would be worried about competition from South Asia and Africa, especially plantations in Philipines or Indonesia, because that’s where climates are adequate to grow grapes, and it’s also much cheaper to produce there. However, it puts our industries and government in an awkward position. It takes our chances to make any profits if we are purchasing foreign products rather than developing our own businesses. That’s why countries employ protective trade measures against globalization. It is important to give their own industries space to grow until they are strong enough to compete with foreign markets. The use of tariffs can be a good example, or other kind of regulations and barriers on trade arrangements. Some might ask, “how does this all fit into globalization? We all know that the economy today is fueled by imports and exports.” However, we should not forget that the world is still undergoing changes due to increased globalization. It’s true that the more open a country’s laws are the more that they can go in and out, financially and otherwise. So that’s why some people are advocates of a free trade system. They argue that if the market were completely free, then it would balance itself according to the pressures of market happening today. However, we should remember that not everybody is ready for the money to go around. The main point is that, most countries would not sacrifice their own stability in order to balance out the economies of other nations! In this point of view, the major premise of free trade, that of allowing for a less self-secure and more globally centered trade system is not very attractive to begin with. At this point of time, what might say that most nations would consider globalization if they knew that their economic stability would increase in the end. And this is where the big debate lies. Globalization is based on a theory, but in reality that theory doesn’t work out quite so smoothly. On a social level, as soon as one person wants to make more than others, globalization is thrown out the window. Then, of course, there are practical implications on the development of new businesses and industries. Globalization and an open trade market means that competition is so high that only the top companies succeed, not to mention the fact that small, family owned businesses don’t stand a chance. That’s why countries are cautious and self-defensive with respect to trade. There is a need to preserve and develop one’s own production. For both developing and developed nations right now, it’s something that’s necessary.

Is this the kind of educational reform Obama means to promote?

Is this the kind of educational reform Obama means to promote?
And is Obama's connection to the infamous terrorist, William Ayers, more serious than the liberal media lets on? William Ayers applied for $50 million for Chicago. The purpose of his application was to secure funds to “raise political consciousness” in Chicago’s public schools. After he won the grant, Ayers’s group chose Barack Obama to distribute the money. Between 1995 and 1999, Obama distributed the $50 million and raised another $60 million from other civic groups to augment it. Now (ACORN) to pair with schools and conduct programs to radicalize the students and politicize them. Reading, math and science achievement tests counted for little in the CAC grants, but the school’s success in preaching a radical political agenda determined how much money they got. Barack Obama should have run screaming at the sight of William Ayers and his wife, Bernadette Dohrn. Ayers has admitted bombing the U.S. Capitol building and the Pentagon, and his wife was sent to prison for failing to cooperate in solving the robbery of a Brink’s armored car in which two police officers were killed. Far from remorse, Ayers told The New York Times in September 2001 that he “wished he could have done more.” Ayers only avoided conviction when the evidence against him turned out to be contained in illegally obtained wiretaps by the FBI. He was, in fact, guilty as sin. That Obama should ally himself with Ayers is almost beyond understanding. The former terrorist had not repented of his views and the education grants he got were expressly designed to further them. So let’s sum up Obama’s Chicago connections. His chief financial supporter was Tony Rezko, now on his way to federal prison. His spiritual adviser and mentor was the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, of “God damn America” fame. And the guy who got him his only administrative job and put him in charge of doling out $50 million is William Ayers, a terrorist who was a domestic Osama bin Laden in his youth. Even apart from the details of the Obama/Ayers connection, two key points emerge: a) Obama lied and misled the American people in his description of his relationship with Ayers as casual and arm’s-length; and b) Obama was consciously guided by Ayers’s radical philosophy, rooted in the teachings of leftist Saul Alinksy, in his distribution of CAC grant funds. Since Obama is asking us to let him direct education spending by the federal government and wants us to trust his veracity, these are difficulties he will have to explain in order to get the votes to win. Now that Obama is comfortably ahead in the polls, attention will understandably shift to him. We will want to know what kind of president he would make. The fact that, within the past 10 years, he participated in a radical program of political education conceptualized by an admitted radical terrorist offers no reassurance. Why did Obama put up with Ayers? Because he got a big job and $50 million of patronage to distribute to his friends and supporters in Chicago. Why did he hang out with Jeremiah Wright? Because he was new in town, having grown up in Hawaii and Indonesia and having been educated at Columbia and Harvard, and needed all the local introductions he could get to jump-start his political career. Why was he so close to Rezko? Because he funded Obama’s campaigns and helped him buy a house for $300,000 less than he otherwise would have had to pay. Not a good recommendation for a president. http://thehill.com/dick-morris/the-obama-ayers-connection-2008-10-07.html Change is something we need absolutely. But your fluffy bumper sticker slogan for "change" lacks substance. We need the RIGHT change, and McCain is it. Great going dodging the question by the way. Wouldn't expect anything less from ideologue zombies.

That you even compare William Ayers with Osama Bin Laden is just sickening. You really need to get over the fact that we need a change in this country. Barack Obama is by far not the most qualified candidate but he is about change and we need a new direction. Unless you consider the last 8 years successfull?
6 :
Not only Ayers and Rezko. How about Reverend Wright and his screaming hate sermons (hard to sleep through all of that noise!) and Louis Farrakhan, Head of the Nation of Islam. A hate-filled radical to say the least and Obama's church awarded him a Lifetime Acheivement award. To may stinking skeletons in his closet. As I have said: You walk like a duck, quack like a duck, smell like a duck and hang out with ducks ---- your probably a duck Your known by the company you keep Birds of a feather flock together.

Pinstripe, the Ayers/Osama comparison holds up. Both are terrorists. Both attacked the United States of America. Both are unrepentant. What part of that don't you understand? Oh yes, one more. Both are low down dirty dogs! As to the original question, it scares me half to death to think what Obama will do towards indoctrinating our children into his political agenda. No thank you. Vote McCain Palin, the only choice for a renewed and strong America. Vote for the RIGHT change!
8 :
It is unlikely since you ahve grossly misrepresented the Chicago Annenberg Challenge and the role Ayers played. Let's start with where the grant came from. The Annenberg foundation was named for its founder (who was president and chairman at the time of this activity), lifelong Republican and former Nixon appointee and Reagan advisor Walter Annenberg. Hardly a group that was involved in "radicalizing" our youth. The panel that determined the winning grant was made up of Vartan Gregorian - president of the Carnegie Corporation, Ted Sizer a former dean of Harvard School of Education and former Bush Sr appointee and Xerox CEO David Kearns - again hardly a radial left wing bunch. http://www.annenberginstitute.org/challenge/sites/chicago.html Next Ayers' role. He co-authored the bid with a former director of the Wiebolt Foundation and Warren Chapman, an advisor the Annenberg Foundation. So of the three, only Ayers was by any stretch of the imagination a leftist. Ayers played absolutely no role in selecting Obama to chair the board for the project. Ayers also was not a board member (as Republicans consistently claim) but rather an advisor who did attend some board meetings but with no voting power. http://www.nytimes.com/glogin?URI=http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/04/us/politics/04ayers.html&OQ=_rQ3D2Q26pagewantedQ3Dall&OP=41ed9b34Q2FQ23Q7B!VQ23Q5Bbn)fbb_Q25Q23Q25Q5EQ5EQ3CQ23Q3DQ5EQ23Q5EXQ23s)Q23kbY9_9n)Q23Q5EXQ7EQ7D!f)Q7CQ24_PY Your representation of the goals of the program are way of the mark. Rather than "politicizing children" the project aimed at "encouraging collaboration among teachers and better professional development; reducing the isolation between schools and between schools and their communities; and reducing school size to improve learning." http://www.edweek.org/login.html?source=http%3A%2F%2Fsg.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%3B_ylt%3DA3xsfM5uXPhIiH0B1Kcj4gt.%3Fp%3Dchicago%2Bannenberg%2Bchallenge%2Baims%26fr%3Dyfp-t-web%26ei%3DUTF-8%26rd%3Dr1&destination=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.edweek.org%2Few%2Farticles%2F2008%2F10%2F09%2F08annenberg_ep.h28.html%3Futm_source%3Dfb%26utm_medium%3Drss%26utm_campaign%3Dmrss&levelId=1000&baddebt=false That you have to so blatantly misrepresent the CAC and the roles that people played in order to sustain this gutter level attack on Obama does nothing other than to demonstrate how tenuous the link really is and how desperate and despicable the Republican's campaign of lies has become.

Not only are these easy questions, but they give you the answers because it's multiple choice. You'll get a better response if you just ask about the ones you don't understand and explain why you don't understand them (you can't not know them all). Yahoo Answers is about helping, not about cheating. Didn't your folks ever tell you that cheaters never prosper?

How to tell her how I feel?

How to tell her how I feel?
I've got a housemate who I knew for a year before we moved in together. She's a year older than me and is from indonesia. But she's a very tough girl who fancies herself a punk (of the current mode). I used to look up to her during our year together at the dorms, but as we began to look for a house to escape the student slums, the more I began to realise her flaws. I know she had always looked out for me, but whenever I said no to something, she gets pissed. She holds the anger and continues to show it to me. She didn't think at that one time that signing the contract immediately after the showing of the house (without consulting my parents--who said no), is the most dumbest idea ever. When I said no, she didn't talk to me, except with words such as "Your parents better find a house for us 'cause I have enough looking around!" Looking back, I would have shoved her back with an arguement. But at that time I felt ashamed and terrible for disappointing her. Still, we did get a better house in the end, but my parents made sure to tell her that since they're the ones paying more than she did ('she said she can do 300£ as payment to the rent--but at the last minute she changed it to 200£ for some reason) my parents put it firm that anything happens they had to be notified and consulted. But by the first month I saw that she was pushing the first years into checking out the house for renting, despite that my parents said no because that woud change the contract, the price, when our landlord practically goes around as if we don't exist. ESPECIALLY when I found out that she was planning to not split it equally between the potential three of us, but only between her and the new roomie. Despite that last year, she was able to pay more for her rent in the dorms, and the money she was getting hasn't changed. She's getting a government grant, and I had to depend on my work and parents. Nonetheless, I had sent the roomates packing with tales on how the house sucks. And she hadn't done it again. Now, however, she is playing as a stepford 'hostess'. She buys a lot of the food, sure, and had spent two hours making the marinade for the meat, but I had to come with her and wound up carrying groceries without a word. Then, after waking up early and spending the morning clearing up the kitchen, sweeping the living room and tidying my bathroom (which she keeps insisting her guests to use rather than her own), then I go out to take my friends to a furniture faire as I had promised. I come back at 1 and found the house empty and everything looking the same and untouched. She comes in, in her best clothes, and starts having her friends over to order about in the preparation of some guy's birthday. I had to take her friends to the supermarket nearest to where we live since she wouldn't do it, and when we came back, she was STILL walking around with her make-up and good clothes while her other guests are preparing the food and cleaning up the mess. I find this very rude and shallow. It's not how people of her culture do it, I've been invited to enough parties to see how it's done, and I was shocked how alot of the help was mostly me and her friends, and not her. I feel like dragging her back in the kitchen and telling her that it's her task to do all this, is there any way I can open her eyes that I find this really insulting?
