is 26 years old too old to produce music?

is 26 years old too old to produce music?
i've just turned 26 yrs old this August, and suddenly i've just felt like a tremendous pressure upon my chest. for one, i'm one of those type of people who's very 'young' at heart, and also, many people said that i'm really talented in music. i have even formed a band last year, and it's still going. and i'm currently learning electronic music production too. Japan's pop sounds have been my main influences , and i'm so dying to hope to travel there, at least stay a bit there, and see what will it take! but unfortunately, i'm kinda born in a very strict chinese-family, where at 26-yrs old, parents already pressure me in stuff like big money-making careers (ie: engineering, plantation, etc), and marriage. and i just don't like them (at least for now), i don't want to grow 'old' quickly, like some of my friends already did.. but yea, life-circumstances is really making me hard to pursue my REAL interests (and my daytime job is also NOT music-related! it sucks). so yea, back to question: do u guys think 26 yrs old is already too-old to produce music, & start music career? I'm an chinese-indonesian living in indonesia, btw.

How can I manually charge someone's credit card remotely?

How can I manually charge someone's credit card remotely?
I reside in the U.S. and I have a potential costumer in Indonesia, who said " the only way i want you charge my card into manual swipe charge machine for safety reason.I can't make check or money order cause I spent my cash money for build my new store. If you don't have charge machine maybe you can find at your family, friends or the other." What is a swipe charge machine, where can I find one, and how can I use it? Is there another way it can be done? Thank you for your time. Can I somehow wire his money into my account?

1 :
you believe him? The safety reason is he doesn't have the three digit number on the back of the card and that is why you can't call it in. If you manually swipe it, how you going to get him to sign it !!!?????
2 :
Well...what he is talking about is a physical credit card imprinter...it's what was used way back in the dark ages...around 1985 or so...basically you put the credit card in a holder, then you pull a slide across the card, then on the return swipe, it imprints the merchant info... BUT...this sounds mighty fishy...first of all even assuming you can find an imprinter...you would need to have his card in hand...so unless you are going to Indonesia or he is coming to you...I'd be real skeptical of this potential transaction...many scammers overseas...personally, my guess is he only has a credit card number, but not the coresponding security code from the back of a real card...but then again...I'm paranoid about money and oversea transactions. (but the I'm all out of cash....kinda trips my oooohhhohhhh meter)
3 :
Check with your credit card company. In the old days prior to swiping, you made an imprint of the card and sent the carbon into the bank (or maybe it was the original). I do know that I call into my doctor's, dentists, or other providers to charge their bills on my account. In addition to my card number they either need my expiration date or the security number on the back of my card. None of them require swiping the card. In this case you cannot swipe a card that is in another location. If you need to ask about a swipe machine, then it appears that you don't use credit cards for payment from buyers.
4 :
A swipe charge machine is the thing that they have at stores where a customer (or an employee) slides the card through the machine and it scans the magnetic stripe to determine the card number. Most of them (although not the ones that are built into gas pumps) will also allow someone to manually enter the card number on a keypad, but you should not do this with a card number from another country, because it might be stolen.
5 :
There seems something strange about this. The ONLY way they will pay you is if you use a swipe charge machine. These are basically a Point-of-Sale device, that are either built into a cash register, or as a separate device connected to it. So does this person want to mail their card to you to charge it and then you mail it back to them? Some of these devices you can manually enter in a card. If this is what they are trying to get you to do you can be almost certain it is a stolen number. Even without knowing all of the information, this seems to have SCAM written all over it. You need to really know who you are dealing with, especially if these people are in a different country. If for some reason you took their charge, and it turns out to be fradulent it is going to be next to impossible to get your money back.

How terrible is greed and delusion? How to protect human and world?

How terrible is greed and delusion? How to protect human and world?
1 old racial problem politician or evil move I observe. He can't even keep himself rest but every now and than yak and yak! Every now and than or can not stop to create racial issue or try to mislead other view him as race hero with his nonsense words:- That is his race will be left behind as they are incompetence ! With people from other part of country, his race can not do any more! Hey! this is not true! never! Once upon the time many foreign came open factory in our country, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and etc, this actually gave the local people to learn skill and knowledge from them and make our people widen the scope of learning and create more multi skill intelligence. Well! not everybody is born in the world same. They have different talent and what they wish to do for the world for his whole life. To be a good human leader, nation leader or world good being or 'insan' in Bahasa Malaysia. You should think how to create chance for the people to learn and all kind of fields that the people can act and do their best for their life happily. They may not be engineer, doctor, lawyer, lecturer or teachers, they can be good actor, dancer, business man, contractor, technician, waiter, diomond designer or best designer for all product making . ... or may be they become the best designer of shoes that can sale to the whole and make tons of money for the country. Make all human enjoy wearing his shoes happily everyday. Well! if this is what he like to do for his life, this will make him live with great happiness. ...stop planting you old and orthodox thoughts in haman to create al kinds of nonsense. I think if you are not thinking to make people happy than basically you are in terrible, greed and delusion people. This terrible greed and delusion in you will bring hatred, evil energy and problem in this world. I think greed and delusion can destroy you. human kind, country and world, what you think? But, what happen we have many people like this in our neighbourhoon, country and in this world. How are we protect our world?

Why is my father like this?

Why is my father like this?
Well my father likes remind me of how inadequate i am.. Well for him at least.. I think i do alright in school, but he is always making fun of me and telling me to get out of the house, but almost never lets me sleep at a friends house or go out or anything, that's why i don't get out of the house, cos i cant.. When i get grades like C's he gets all mad and makes fun of me, and when i get A's he doesn't say anything, no reward, no pat on the back no 'good job son' no nothing.. That's why i'm not really motivated to do well in school, i don't really mind what grades i get cos there's really no incentive for me to do good.. Also, when it comes to choosing a job later in life, he always says, " why don't you work on an oil rig? those guys make loads of money and you don't need to be that intelligent' or other jobs that don't require much training, obviously implying that he thinks i can't do good..I really don't care about money, i just want to do something i like.. When i told him what i want to do, he just laughed.. Why does he always make me feel like i can't ever do good? I'm not stupid or anything, if i really want to i could get all A's but i just don't see the point cos i never get anything out of it.. Oh and he makes fun of my mom alot cos she is kind of poor, most of moms family is poor, and he's always saying things (when my grades are bad) ok why don't you go live with the 'winners' in LA? (i live in indonesia with him, biggest mistake of my life i really miss my mom!!) Thanks for reading..

See if you can go back to live with your Mom or other relatives. Your incentive to make good grades is your future out of the situation you are in right now. Make very good grades, go to college if you can, and show your Dad how smart you really are, then shower your Mom with your kindness.
2 :
Some fathers are like that. Its because he was a loser. he behaves so. Thats just dad. ignore him if irritating and go for ur jobs prove u r not vat he thinks. I had it with my aunt. but now i proved and she has shut her mouth.
3 :
Your father is projecting his own insecurities on you. Some fathers feel threatened by a son who may become more competent and talented than they were. You need to be raised in a home with love, not derision. You don't want to hear your father's negaive voice in the back of your head limiting you all your life. If you can get back to your mom you should do so.

Husband is threatening to leave after 20 years of marriage?

Husband is threatening to leave after 20 years of marriage?
We build a beautiful house 3 years ago. Suddenly he's fed up with me and claims that I've been a bad wife through out this marriage. Though, I'm the one still sitting at home taking care of everything waiting on him and the kids, while he's done exactly what he's wanted all these years; many degrees and a good job. I'm supposed to do whatever he expects me to do - I can only enjoy things if he's okay with it. I'm not allowed to get upset or mad but he can yell and throw mean fits and insults anytime because then that's when he's going to leave and make me suffer. I've been through ups and downs with the marriage, now when he's making so much money this is when he wants to leave and as he says, make me provide for myself and will only support me and the kids with very little monthly payment that can hardly pay the rent. Which I'm not sure that I can do because its just hard and scary. All these years I could have been doing something for myself, but he claimed he wanted an "old fashioned marriage" a homemaker. I don't have a degree and I have a small part time job that I've been doing for the past 2 yrs. He claims that he's going to move back to his country (Indonesia) overseas where no one can interfere with him. He has so much money stashed up over there and god knows where else, that no one has access to and has very little savings here (I know this for a fact). How can I get him to support us completely when he's going to get a much lower paying job in his country? I don't have any family members except my brother who's already struggling financially.

hmmm..What a terrible situation you're in. You really did a good job supporting him, but I believe the reality is this, you need to file for divorce right away. This guy is going to scoot the country, and he just might seel the house behind your back too. Hire an attorney immediately. If you are serious about protecting your assets..I have some great tips you can do on Monday morning...just email me.
2 :
i wouldn't care how much money he has, i wouldn't want his money supporting me, all he ever cared about was being filthy rich. i would just leave and never look back. maybe then he'll realize what a true treasure he lost.
3 :
You decide what is best for you and the children. He wants out...let him go and smile. Your attorney will handle the rest.
4 :
as the now old shoe he is leaving you in the closet just because he has money stashed all over the world in his personal accounts does not mean that a good lawyer can't make him cough it up through his nose get legal council and get an injunction to keep him in the USA until the divorce is settled. tmm
5 :
Go out and find the best attorney that will make him pay and will be able to put a freeze on all his finance.

How do you view this ""Inspirational Message""?

How do you view this ""Inspirational Message""?
""Inspirational ! Power of Money, By Adam Khoo ( Singapore 's youngest millionaire at 26 yrs.) Some of you may already know that I travel around the region pretty frequently, having to visit and conduct seminars at my offices in Malaysia , Indonesia , Thailand and Suzhou ( China ). I am in the airport almost every other week so I get to bump into many people who have attended my seminars or have read my books. Recently, someone came up to me on a plane to KL and looked rather shocked. He asked, 'How come a millionaire like you is traveling economy?' My reply was, 'That's why I am a millionaire. ' He still looked pretty confused. This again confirms that greatest lie ever told about wealth (which I wrote about in my latest book 'Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires' ). Many people have been brainwashed to think that millionaires have to wear Gucci, Hugo Boss, Rolex, and sit on first class in air travel. This is why so many people never become rich because the moment that earn more money, they think that it is only natural that they spend more, putting them back to square one. The truth is that most self-made millionaires are frugal and only spend on what is necessary and of value. That is why they are able to accumulate and multiply their wealth so much faster. Over the last 7 years, I have saved about 80% of my income while today I save only about 60% (because I have my wife, mother in law, 2 maids, 2 kids, etc. to support). Still, it is way above most people who save 10% of their income (if they are lucky). I refuse to buy a first class ticket or to buy a $300 shirt because I think that it is a complete waste of money. However, I happily pay $1,300 to send my 2-year old daughter to Julia Gabriel Speech and Drama without thinking twice. When I joined the YEO (Young Entrepreneur' s Orgn) a few years back (YEO) is an exclusive club open to those who are under 40 and make over $1m a year in their own business) I discovered that those who were self-made thought like me. Many of them with net worth well over $5m, travelled economy class and some even drove Toyota 's and Nissans, not Audis, Mercs, BMWs. I noticed that it was only those who never had to work hard to build their own wealth (there were also a few ministers' and tycoons' sons in the club) who spent like there was no tomorrow. Somehow, when you did not have to build everything from scratch, you do not really value money. This is precisely the reason why a family's wealth (no matter how much) rarely lasts past the third generation. Thank God my rich dad foresaw this terrible possibility and refused to give me a cent to start my business. Then some people ask me, 'What is the point in making so much money if you don't enjoy it?' The thing is that I don't really find happiness in buying branded clothes, jewellery or sitting first class. Even if buying something makes me happy it is only for a while, it does not last. Material happiness never lasts, it just give you a quick fix. After a while you feel lousy again and have to buy the next thing which you think will make you happy. I always think that if you need material things to make you happy, then you live a pretty sad and unfulfilled life. Instead, what makes me happy is when I see my children laughing and playing and learning so fast. What makes me happy is when I see my companies and trainers reaching more and more people every year in so many more countries. What makes me really happy is when I read all the emails about how my books and seminars have touched and inspired someone's life. What makes me really happy is reading all your wonderful posts about how this blog is inspiring you. This happiness makes me feel really good for a long time, much much more than what a Rolex would do for me. I think the point I want to put across is that happiness must come from doing your life's work (be it teaching, building homes, designing, trading, winning tournaments etc.) and the money that comes is only a by-product."""

Nice lines: "what makes me happy is when I see my children laughing and playing and learning so fast. What makes me happy is when I see my companies and trainers reaching more and more people every year in so many more countries. What makes me really happy is when I read all the emails about how my books and seminars have touched and inspired someone's life. What makes me really happy is reading all your wonderful posts about how this blog is inspiring you. This happiness makes me feel really good for a long time, much much more than what a Rolex would do for me..."!! But what do we actually do? We pamper children with ''gifts'' of sorts at every opportunity and make them feel good with material things.. with the result we make them seek the joy outside of themselves, that is shortlived and ever keeps one expecting for more and more, still remaining unsatiated!! Govt gives sops to people to attract votes, instead of giving opportunities to grow economically!! Traders give ''gifts'' with their products, to attract customers. Parents bribe kids promising something if they did their study / sports well etc. We are ever held in the grip of material attractions that carry the pride of ''merit'' earned /acknowledged or love shared.. So we are thrown into a conditioning from childhood to look upon material possessions as adding some 'value' to life. We do not take the Budha's insistence to keep desires at bay or more practical advice of great ones like Sai Baba to keep ''a ceiling on desires'' which are very useful tips to us. That a millionaire baled out this gem from his stark personal perception and practice is highly significant and we should care to imbibe the salutary habit in our own lives, for our best interests. Thnx Bull for the quote - many of us miss such nice articles of value, while wasting our time reading the political jokes and news of inconsequence!
