12 months backpacking. africa or south america?

12 months backpacking. africa or south america?
i currently have 2 and a half months left of my trip through south asia. obviously ive started thinking about having to go home, and figure if my job goes well then in another 2 years ill be able to afford another 12 months backpacking, but i need to choose a continent to work towards, especially considering each one requires learning at least some of the local language. my favourite countries on this trip have been india, myanmar, cambodia, and indonesia is currently making a good impression (albeit after only a month). i love historical sites, political and ancient, love trekking on all terrains, hate the whole fat-white-people-getting-drunk-on-a-beach scene, relaxing makes me feel uneasy (like im wasting money), so i want a destination thats intense, heady and full of action. a little danger doesnt scare me either. so, africa or south america? answers preferably from people that have been to one, or both. cheers

Have you thought about Central America? I went to Nicaragua last year, and it's a rough country, dangerous and beautiful (kinda dirty though).... I've never been to either of the other places you mention. But, I did meet alot of traveler's from South America, and they were great. You can avoid the fat beach go'ers, and hike the volcanoes (the country has been devastated by them for centuries, so they're constantly rebuilding) Hope that helps ya!

How to pay debt with immigrant status?

How to pay debt with immigrant status?
I am an immigrant from Indonesia, I had made bad decision. First I have to apologize with my English, I am still learning. I moved to United State 5 years ago, with visa asylum, while in the process I thought that I can get online education , and I was wrong, I pay for couple times and then stop paying because I need the money for living, years pass by, I always thought that I can get a loan which I can pay up later after I graduated, but it never happened because of my status, finally my Visa came out Dec 2nd 2009. short story, I have debt with my college for $12.000 for 10 classes, I feel stupid right now. I want to quit the college but I dont want to waste all my time through that class, but I have no money, I tried to make a loan from any bank, but my credit history is not good enough. I really need someone that can help me with this situation, suggestion or opinion are very much welcome, and I am not familiar with all this education term and stuff. I dont know where to ask, I dont have any family here in US. Thank you for your kind attention. The problem is I can not get a student loan, I need a co signer, and I dont have anybody that willing to put them self on unsafe spot. I can even get a loan for $3000 with my credit history

If you took out a student loan then this loan will have to be paid off.... eventually. There is only one way to pay it off: Get a job and make your monthly payments to pay off the debt. You can't pay off a loan with a loan.... no lender will agree to an unsecured loan to pay off a student loan that can not be discharged in bankruptcy. Contact the lender and make a payment plan and start paying it off. Student loans come due the moment you are done with the education and no, the fact that you flunked out does not make it any better. Sorry..... all you get with a question like this is a lot of loan scammers. Don't answer to anybody that offers you a low interest loan even if your credit is bad. That is a scam.

Try Mary Kay products, or Avon. Both are well established MLM businesses.
2 :
If you want to join a great mlm company, look towards Agel. Agel is still growing and there is a greater opportunity for growth as opposed to Mary Kay or Avon. Agel is doing business in 47 different countries, and Indonesia is one of those markets. Agel is the first to market with their "suspension gel technology". It is with nutritional supplements, which does over $100 billion a year. Agel also has arguably, the best skin care line there is. It's called Ageless. (video found on my website) Agel has what is called as the quadra plan when it comes to commissions. It's one of the most lucritive out there. They have taken some of the best parts of compensation plans that have been involved in the industry and made it very attractive for anyone that enters. Everything you need to know can be found on my website and I would be more than willing to talk more into detail if you have any questions. And if it's something you're interested in, please feel free to contact me and I can get you started in the right direction. www.agel-quiroga.blogspot.com

Question about obama tax cut?

Question about obama tax cut?
Obama says that he will cut taxes for about 95% american and will increase taxes for 5% american, which means the very rich people, that includes the people who have businesses and have major companies and make a lot of money. But doesn't obama know that if he cuts taxes 95% for poor people and increase for businesses that those businesses will leave america and might go to mexico or indonesia or other countries that don't have taxes?? That way the businesses will save from the higher taxes. This means, that many americans will lose jobs under obamas plan and will actually have to suffer paying health insurance that they will not have money for?? I am very confused, I am a obama supporter, but after researching it makes me think twice about him.. How can you increase taxes for the wealthy companies and people, those companies will probably open up their Business in another country which does not charge much tax and manyy americans will lose jobs, thus this will actually raise taxes. SInce america depends on taxes, after the companies leaving, not much american wills have jobs..? What do you think

I think his plan simply will not work!
2 :
Look dear, you can't build a house from the top down. You have to start from the bottom up. Business has left the states already. The businesses that is left will get tax breaks if they go green.
3 :
Obama will also remove the tax breaks that the big businesses get when they take their jobs overseas, and give tax breaks to businesses creating jobs here.
4 :
Giving tax cuts to poor means they will have more money to invest in the economy which means growth in revenue for the businesses therefore whether businesses pay higher taxes they will still be able to generate bigger profits and besides the tax increase is only by 3%
5 :
no i don't think so
6 :
Obama is not proposing anything radical or crazy at all. Think of it this way.....all Obama's tax plan does it take our tax rates back to the 1990s, the days of Clinton. And remember, the 1990s was the greatest period of economic growth in America's history. so, if it worked GREAT then, what's so "extremist" about going back to that?
7 :
Its called "Trickle Up Poverty".
8 :
He is also giving businesses a tax credit to stay here and 3000 per new hire for two yrs tax credit. Therefore, the incentive's to stay is also there. The wealthy people are not the one's complaining they are the ones endorsing him. Only the middle class are complaining about it. That is a fact, you can Google it and most wealthy agree with paying 3% more with all the other breaks it pretty much equals out for them.
9 :
Me personally? I'm smart. I've run businesses for rich people who wanted to screw around and drink all day. If and when they leave the countries (Will they have a market to sell their crap there? I'm sure we can make it expensive to try and get their goods back in the country if they cop out on taxes.) then great. I'm excited to have a chance to have a level playing field. I'm excited to push MY innovations and make MY ideas happen. I'm sure there are others out there. It's not like these tax increases are going to put these poor megamillions-making companies on the street. They'll be living high on the hog just as they always were. I dunno. I just think if all these corrupt, horrible people leave our country, things will be rough again - but just like when the true Americans left England and came here to start a new life, it was hard but they were committed and they transformed America from a wilderness to a great country. We can do it again. I think we're coming to a crisis in what it means to be a citizen, what it means to be committed to your country. I'd rather the people who are only it it for themselves go find a new ship to sink. We'll make it through here.
10 :
0.3% of all Americans make over 5 million dollars a year. 1% of people make 1 million dollars or more. That means that the majority of that 5% make under 1 million dollars per year. Many of them are small businesses owners. Obama claims that only 2% of all small business owners make over 250K per year. What he does not tell everyone is that 80% of all small business employees are employed by that 2%. How in the hell are they going to grow their businesses, creating jobs and keeping the employees they have when their taxes are raised? Makes no sense whatsoever.
11 :
His tax plan is a joke. He even had to create a phony web site to show his tax plan is Better then McCains. His plan cannot work, will not work and will cause the economy to fall and fail. It has a history. He will raise taxes and say he had to because of Bush. 94 times he voted for tax increases, 94. Not once has he ever voted for a tax cut, never. Get it yet?
12 :
Yes they may move to another country but they could also just lower salaries for the workers here or fire people for budget reasons. This is why McCain is proposing to cut corporate taxes. Obama will destroy capitalism, the system that created this great nation. He'll strangle businesses until they are forced to give up or move or have there own recession. Then he'll blame it all on capitalism. And about the health care you talked about, it will be disaster. Just look at britian They have universal health care and they have to wait a year or 2 t get a simple procedure done. The future is dark if Obama is elected Freedom '08
13 :
i don't worry about this because even with the current tax rate, they are shipping jobs overseas. i think what obama is actually talking about doing is doing away with a current loophole that gives companies incentives for sending jobs overseas and rewarding those that keep jobs here in america. the other thing is the majority of hiring is done by small business and 98% of them gross less than 250k so they won't see an increase, plus they get an exemption and a credit to offer healthcare to their workers so they may actually come out better than they are currently which means they may hire more workers. another reason i don't worry about this is because the american dream has been replaced by greed. it's no longer enough for a company to be profitable, they seek (exxon) bigger and bigger profits which we all know are unsustainable. what i'd like to see is a return of americans who will boycott. if a company ships their jobs overseas, let them earn their revenue overseas, if you want americans to patronize your business and buy your products, bring it back. if we did that, we wouldn't need incentives to get companies to stay here.
14 :
If there is one thing more certain than death in life it is that politicians raise taxes, regardless of how much they say they won't.
15 :
Obama is a joke with false promises. He lied about all the tax cuts and increases when he was running for Senator. I do not understand how we can trust this guy when he has never finished a term.... It would be nice if his words were genuine but based on the past I just wonder....
16 :
Go to www.BarackObama.com get some facts. 84% of small buisiness don't make 25000 dollars Joe must feel to be used by McCain.
17 :
Please Take a moment to consider. Number 1: Most companies that employ 4+ people are making more then 250,000 dollars a year. Those companies have a simple 5 to 10% growth plan. If you tax them, they won't move they'll just do the work with less people and increase the price of goods and service (inflation). The stupid tax breaks for going green, and staying here does nothing. Remeber this country is a pay in arrears taxing enconomy. Money is taking out and you get to ask and prove to get it back. Money which I know I can make more with via R&D investment or low risk investment in downturned economy. Number 2 Middle Class Americans owe 18,000 to 20,000 in credit card debt. a 2,000 thousand tax break paid to credit cards does not count to GDP because Credit is used as form of acquisition of products and service (i.e. currency) See any Susy Orman and Dave Ramsey Radio Show Number 3 If you don't have a job, you don't have income. See how far 2k goes then. Number 4 Paying a company to open up jobs here will encourage american companies to just go out and invest in a new work force. If the companies products are not strong in a global market they are most likely going to cut expenses and invest what little cash they have in their most successful products and create a plan for new market penetration, at which time they will hire. Hiring people just to save on taxes is the dumbest corporate strategy on the planet. Number 5 Obama and his VP have as much corporate american capability as I have presidential aspirations (i.e. none)!!!!!!! That makes them qualified to take the janitorial position (just opened under Obama's plan) to clean my home office! Oh sorry my kid just said he would do that if I would take him camping (sounds like workforce consolidation). Sounds like my 15 year old teen knows a little more about earning rewards then Obama. Number 6 95% of Americans don't pay taxes. so how can 95% Americans get a tax break? They actual figure is below 70%. This includes businesses that run an at loss business and write it off as tax deductions. Please do some research other then the candidates own web-site. If all you do is read candidates own web site, you might as well say I like Koolaid because the Koolaid man said it taste great. Good Luck Vote McCain and stop thinking that the childs play Monopoly strategic negotiations that Obama deploys will amount to more then just Bankruptcy. Remember in Monopoly there is one winner, in Obama's world that is Big Government.

100% SCAM Delete it - this is nothing but a scam to first steal your identity with all the info they ask for. If this were for real, wouldn't they already know your name, email, nationality, etc? I mean how could they inform you that you won if they didn't already know who you were? Of course this is a scam Second, Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, etc are all RIVALS and would NEVER do any sort of promotion together Third, none of these companies are headquartered in Indonesia so there is NO way a prize would be from a country where none of these companies are baseed
2 :
Anyone offering $250,000 dollars via email, for an email competition, is running a scam. Remember the golden rule: If some one asks you to send money to them to enable a payment to you, is trying to scam you. Like wise, DO NOT send any card of bank details, EVER!
3 :
100% scam. There is no BBC, Yahoo, Coca-Cola, MSN, Microsoft, BMW or any other company in the entire world that sponsors a lottery that notifies winners via email, phone call or text. There is only a scammer trying to steal your hard-earned money. The next email will be from another of the scammer's fake names and free email addresses pretending to be the "lottery official" and will demand you pay for made-up fees and taxes, in cash, and only by Western Union or moneygram. Western Union and moneygram do not verify anything on the form the sender fills out, not the name, not the street address, not the country, not even the gender of the receiver, it all means absolutely nothing. The clerk will not bother to check ID and will simply hand off your cash to whomever walks in the door with the MTCN# and question/answer. Neither company will tell the sender who picked up the cash, at what store location or even in what country your money walked out the door. Neither company has any kind of refund policy, money sent is money gone forever. Now that you have responded to a scammer, you are on his 'potential sucker' list, he will try again to separate you from your cash. He will send you more emails from his other free email addresses using another of his fake names with all kinds of stories of great jobs, lottery winnings, millions in the bank and desperate, lonely, sexy singles. He will sell your email address to all his scamming buddies who will also send you dozens of fake emails all with the exact same goal, you sending them your cash via Western Union or moneygram. Do you know how to check the header of a received email? If not, you could google for information. Being able to read the header to determine the geographic location an email originated from will help you weed out the most obvious scams and scammers. Then delete and block that scammer. Don't bother to tell him that you know he is a scammer, it isn't worth your effort. He has one job in life, convincing victims to send him their hard-earned cash. Whenever suspicious or just plain curious, google everything, website addresses, names used, companies mentioned, phone numbers given, all email addresses, even sentences from the emails as you might be unpleasantly surprised at what you find already posted online. You can also post/ask here and every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find before taking a chance and losing money to a scammer. If you google "fake yahoo lottery", "lottery Western Union fraud" or something similar, you will find hundreds of posts of victims and near-victims of this type of scam.

You could post up the email address and the emails themselves that the scammer is using, it will help make your post more googlable for other suspicious potential victims to find when looking for information. If you google "fake yahoo lottery", "lotto Western Union fraud" or something similar, you will find hundreds of posts of victims and near-victims of this type of scam.
