hOW DO YOU FELL ABOOUT OBAMA WINNING AFTER YOU READ THIS????? (PLEASE READ ALL) This election has me very worried. So many things to consider. About a year ago I would have voted for Obama. I have changed my mind three times since than. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with. About six months ago, I started thinking 'where did the money come from for Obama'. I have four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans. I started looking into Obama's life. Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California. He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies. 'Barry' (that was the name he u sed all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan. During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a 'round the world' trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three weeks in Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family. My question - Where did he get the money for this trip? Nether I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they where in college. When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York. It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia? It's not cheap to say the least! Where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe. After Columbia, he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000 a year. Why Chicago? Why not New York? He was already living in New York. By 'chance' he met Antoin 'Tony' Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria, and a real estate developer in Chicago. Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery this year. Rezko, was named 'Entrepreneur of the Decade' by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association'. About two years later, Obama ente red Harvard Law School. Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School? Where did he get the money for Law School? More student loans? After Law school, he went back to Chicago. Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what? They represented 'Rezar' which is Rezko's firm. Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago. In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with 'seed money' for his U.S. Senate race. In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwoood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans - Where did he get the money for the property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko. Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett, was Michele Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without t alking to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz, Iran! Do we see a pattern here? Or am I going crazy? On May 10, 2008 The Times reported, Robert Malley, advisor to Obama, was 'sacked' after the press found out he was having regular contacts with 'Hamas', which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran. This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing about the< br> war until after he is elected, and he will 'Take care of things'. Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that where born in Pakistan? They are in charge of all those 'small' Internet campaign contributions for Obama. Where is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East? And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2008, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on 'This Week' with George Stephanapoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, 'My Muslim faith'. When questioned, 'he made a mistake'. Some mistake! All of the above information I got on line. On one hand, I'm impressed that so many blacks and whites supported him. I think that says wonderful things about this country. On the other hand, some things worry me. Bush made exaggerated claims that he never fulfilled, expressed disdain for Americans, overspends, and may have had a hand in the events of 9/11. So.... we elect Obama, who makes exaggerated claims, disdainfully says people "cling" to God (I'm proud of my religion thank you), has a tax-and-spend plan, and associates with Ayers. I don't get it. He's not really that different from Bush. At least Obama has a Harvard degree and more intelligence... I think his mixed-race background blinded people to the fact that he's disturbingly similar to Bush. Bottom line: he's our President now, so I accept it and wish him well.

obama is not perfect, but he is the lesser of two evils. you left out the part where obama also graduated from a private high school that is quite expensive also. alot of people are confused, but obama is not some average black guy from south central. he comes from a rich family. thats how he afforded all that. have you ever seen fresh prince of bel air.

The guy is likable and inspires confidence and allegiance in millions of people. I like him. But I don't like to be charmed and I feel he is charming me, or attempting to. I prefer someone who is purely analytical, intellectual and completely free of rhetorical dressing. I don't want to be MADE to think what I think. I don't think that republicans should fear him, and I think liberals should really TEMPER their hopes, which are too high. Disillusion is inevitable. He strongly endorsed and voted for a bailout that effectively gave him his COP-OUT for doing very few of the things he said he would do, as vaguely as even these were stated. He voted for the largest single legislative transfer of public wealth into private hands ever enacted in US history. That's not change you can believe, that is a very unusually strong demonstration of politics as usual.

He already got voted in so I think it is too late for this. However, you have very many valid points. College is expensive so where got the money is questionable. Student loans... doubt it. Scholarships... doubt it. With the schools he went to and with the job he started with, the money owned would have increased because of interest. And the money for traveling costs who knows. He had to be getting money for someone. Also about the Muslim religion; I believe he is truely a Muslim, but he says he is not to not hurt his political status. Saying that, there is nothing wrong with being a Muslim unless you are a radical who thinks people who are not Muslim should die, etc. This stuff is in the koran.

It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out, won't it? I have a friend who went to Harvard for all four years of college maybe 10 years ago and he was (actually his parents) 100,000 plus in debt. I think it was fairly well known that he was a Muslim and went to mosque when he was younger, but to be honest I think a true Muslim would have a VERY difficult time calling themself a Christian. If you have ever known any Muslims personally you would know this edit: I don't think HE is the anti Christ, but I think if the Lord is coming back it will be during Obamas administration, however long that will be, of course up to 8 years.

You have way too much time on your hands with conspiracy theories and all. But Obama and his wife had a ton of student loan debt from Harvard Law School that they only got out of debt after his second book "Audacity of Hope" when he made a lot of money from that.

We have taken everything out of the stock market before Obama declares it "community property". There is nothing I can do about my 401K Like I said extreme fear because his policies are worse than Jimmy Carters which brought 21% home interest rates and 20% unemployment not to mention millions of jobs going over seas because of the high taxes. Even though it's too late to do anything about the fact that he's now our president, I think it's a good idea to keep tabs on him. People who say "What does it matter now? He"s our president, no sense in getting all bent out of shape" are, I think, almost just as foolish as the people that voted Obama into office! We don't just suddenly give up on our country and the things we stand for just because we get a bad leader into the White House!
